With the Desk plan you see arrivals at the exchanges we map while they are still in the mempool, before the block confirms them, exchange by exchange and down to each transaction.
Exchange arrivals are measured at the sweep into the exchange's wallet — for Binance a median 110.3 min after the coins are sent, nine in ten within 187.3 min (sample of Oct-06–Oct-21)

Arrivals at the exchanges we map, by UTC day of the block, Oct-11–Oct-23; three mapped wallets that are not exchanges (a mining pool, an ETF custody address, a reserve wallet) are left out. Data to Oct-23 04:54Z. Click any number for its transactions.
Exchange arrivals our collector saw in the mempool before the block that confirmed them, Oct-16–Oct-22 2026 (closed UTC days). An arrival = BTC moving into an exchange we map from an address we have not tagged for that exchange (this can include its own untagged wallets). Counted per transaction: one transaction into two exchanges counts once. The lead = minutes from first sight to the block header. The ≥ 100 BTC row counts arrivals of 100 BTC or more at one exchange. Each transaction count opens its list.
Capture gaps: moments our collector lost the mempool feed (count · total seconds); an arrival first seen during one shows a shorter lead or none.
What we see and what we don't
correction · Oct-22 2026 Arrivals are recounted with a corrected exchange map: four market-making desk addresses leave Coinbase and Bitstamp, ten addresses move from Coinbase to OKX, Bybit and Gemini. Oct-20 2026: 19,335.05 BTC, was 20,377.18. Days after Oct-21 04:25Z keep the old map until the collector gets it. Exchange netflow carries the same correction.
The map. Our address map holds 2,560,727 addresses across 133 entities; 57 exchange entities have moved coins through it (map count of Sep-12 2026, the same as on exchange netflow). Oct-11–Oct-23 2026: 31 exchanges on it received arrivals; three mapped wallets that are not exchanges (a mining pool, an ETF custody address, a reserve wallet) are left out.
What counts. An arrival is BTC moving on chain into an exchange we map from an address we have not tagged for that exchange, by the UTC day of its block; this can include the exchange's own untagged wallets. Not counted: exchanges we do not map, and anything that stays off the chain (an exchange's own books, Lightning).
Binance is preliminary.Binance is counted when coins sent to it are swept into its own wallet: a median 110.3 min later, nine in ten within 187.3 min (49,617 transfers traced to their sweep, Oct-06–Oct-21). Our completeness check of those sweeps has run pass 1 of 2, so Binance figures are marked preliminary.
Capture gaps. Our collector lost the mempool feed 196 times in Oct-16–Oct-22, 143 s in total; an arrival first seen during a gap shows a shorter lead or none, and the block still counts it.
