Some public companies keep bitcoin as a treasury asset and report it: in the US on a form 8-K or in a quarterly report, elsewhere in a notice on their own stock exchange. This page names them. The table gives each company's bitcoin as the company itself last stated it, with the date and a link to that document; together the 15 companies we have checked hold 1,108,595 BTC, 5.28% of bitcoin's 21 million cap. The list is not complete: it names only the companies we have checked so far. The total adds numbers stated on different dates, Jun-30 to Oct-18 2026, 3 of them «approximately». Under the table runs the feed of 8-K filings that say «bitcoin» from the US-listed companies we follow, newest first, stamped with the minute EDGAR accepted each one. The chart counts those filings day by day, by EDGAR's filing date, next to every 8-K on EDGAR that says «bitcoin». Numbers come from the filings themselves; we do not copy aggregators.

One row per company: the newest purchase from either the company's own document or its holdings line; the holdings table updates when the company states a total. A purchase whose filing states no holdings total prints «total not stated» and does not change the company's holdings row until a total is disclosed; such a row is shown only when it is newer than the holdings line. A company whose document gives no bitcoin count for a purchase is not listed (Trump Media & Technology Group: a purchase in 2026-07, amount not stated). «announced» is the day the company announced the purchase; its document does not give the trade date. The link opens the document that states the purchase (text «SEC 8-K <accession>» for filings our poller read). The average price is the one the document gives, in its own currency, not converted. A purchase is printed the day it is filed after an automatic check of the extracted numbers; the label beside it says whether that draft has been reviewed by hand.

Checked and left out, because the company states no single number for the bitcoin it holds: GameStop (GME): its 10-Q splits the coins between the balance sheet and bitcoin pledged to Coinbase, carried as a receivable, and states no total; Bullish (BLSH): it reports bitcoin only in thousands of units, wrapped bitcoin included.
