Every Bybit and OKX announcement we have heard since 2026-06-11, sorted into new listings against delistings and counted by the week WE HEARD it — plus the lag between the exchange publishing and us hearing it.

Exchanges publish a listing the moment it is decided, and a delisting in the same channel with a much quieter headline. Counted week by week, the ratio between the two is a rough read on whether the industry is expanding or pruning: 305 listing posts against 98 delistings since we started listening on 2026-06-11. Two things to hold before you read that ratio. 🩸 the «new coins» are not all coins: 107 of the 305 (35 %) are TradFi stock-CFD listings, Bybit rolling out equities, not tokens. 🩸 and the first week of our capture (2026-06-08) is a backlog dump, not a week: it carries 31 delistings against 11 listings, 29 of those delistings being articles the feed still had pinned on our first read — without that week the ratio is 4.39 instead of 3.11. Every bar is the week WE heard the post, not the week the exchange dated it: the feed handed us 71 pinned articles from as far back as 2024-02-02 on our very first read, and counting those in their own old weeks would have drawn two empty years. We also keep the time between publishing and hearing, because that lag is our own instrument and it is measured, not assumed.

| 🩸 what «new coin» counts | the type comes from the exchange's own announcement category, and Bybit files its TradFi equity CFDs under the same one: 107 of the 305 listing posts (35 %) are stock CFDs by title. The headline count is therefore «listing announcements», not «new tokens», and the page no longer calls it the second thing. |
| 🩸 two clocks | the exchange's publish time and our own seen time are both kept, and the page counts by OURS. Counting by the exchange's publish time would promise years of depth this leg does not have: weeks before 2026-06-11 would hold only the handful of articles still pinned on the first read — a sample, not a census. |
| lag line | the lag view drops posts older than 30 days at the moment we heard them (21 of 904): a two-year gap between publishing and hearing is a pinned article, not a slow poller. 🩸 it also drops the 132 posts (14.6 %) whose publish stamp is in the FUTURE relative to our read — the exchange schedules a publication time and the feed serves the article before it, median 7.1 hours early — because a negative lag is not a lag. On the 751 rows that are left the median is 82 minutes and the p90 is 22.3 hours: minutes for the typical post, not for the tail. |
