Thirteen years of the XRP ledger read day by day: ledgers closed, transactions carried, and the coins destroyed by the fees that paid for them.
3,733,734transactions per day on Oct-22 2026, the last day in this build, read from a public record, published by askthetape.com.
For everyone
Every transaction on the XRP ledger pays a fee, and that fee is not paid to anyone — the coins are destroyed. So the supply only shrinks, a little every day, and you can count exactly how much: 14,413,574 XRP since the record starts. We also keep the plain numbers of the chain: how many ledgers closed, how fast they closed, how many transactions they carried. It begins on the last day of 2012, which makes it one of the longest unbroken series we hold.
For the pro
leg
public sources we pull once a day — we run no XRP Ledger node: transactions, fees (the fee is the burn), supply and ledgers closed per day come from a community chain-metrics archive (TxCnt · FeeTotNtv · SplyCur · BlkCnt); the running ledger index is anchored on a day boundary read from the XRP Ledger's public servers and carried day by day with that block count. only the live network series are shown. Measured on this build, 5 derived series in the same table have stopped (funding_rates__pred last printed 2026-07-19; funding_rates_bnsettle last printed 2026-06-11; taker_buy_sell_stats last printed 2026-08-28; transactions_count_cmres last printed 2026-06-11; transactions_count_tes last printed 2026-06-12) and are left out rather than carried flat; one more series is alive (capitalization) but is market data, not a chain vital, so it is not on this page either. · read on the site · not exported: this page is drawn from someone else's archive
check
the fee series and the burn series are the same number on every one of the 5,043 days where both exist (0 days differ) — the fee IS the burn, so the page prints it once and says so; «ledgers closed per day» is the day-over-day difference of the ledger index, so the first day of the record carries no bar
