Taker buys minus taker sells on 21 coins across four exchanges, from our own minute tape; Binance's line reaches back to 2019 on the exchange's public archive. Above zero the buyers were the impatient ones.
−$1.48B BTC · net taker flow, four exchanges on Oct-22 2026, the last day in this build, measured and published by askthetape.com.
Every trade has a patient side resting an order and an impatient side crossing the spread to hit it. Add up the dollars of the impatient ones, buys minus sells, and you get the day's number: above zero the buyers were chasing. The live taker-flow page shows three coins; we record all of these, on four exchanges, minute by minute. Disagreement between exchanges on the same coin is the interesting part — it usually means one venue's crowd is doing something the others are not. Historical archive fetched 2026-10-06 from the venue's public endpoint / the public CFTC endpoint; source units and gaps preserved; browser-only.
| leg | `cvd_1m` — own minute capture of aggressor trades on Binance, Bybit, OKX and Gate, summed per UTC day · before our first day, Binance's line is the exchange's public archive: USD-margined perpetual daily klines, taker buys minus the rest of the turnover, 2019-09-09 → 2026-08-06 |
|---|---|
| cadence | per minute, daily sums |
| seam | exchange's public archive → own capture since 2026-08-08 (Binance line only; the sum and other venues are ours) |
| judge | archive against our own capture, Binance, hours we caught whole: r 1.00 · slope 1.00 (median of 21 coins; worst coin r 1.00), n 23,568 hours, 2026-08-08 → 2026-09-25. Over that span our Binance sums run 0.7 % under the archive's on the median coin: trades our tape missed, mostly in hours when it lost minutes, and on such a day the net can be far off, even in sign — not a different measure |
| since | 2026-08-08 — the first day that passes the completeness gate; the tape itself starts a day earlier and that day is dropped, not drawn short |
| 🩸 completeness gate | a coin-venue-day enters this page only with at least 1,300 captured minutes out of 1,440 — the SAME rule the live CVD page applies to the same tape, so the two pages now start on the same day. Measured on this build that drops 435 of 6,552 coin-venue-days (6.6 %), including every cell of 2026-08-07, which our capture only covered to a third. A short day is dropped, never drawn as a full bar. 🩸 the aggregate hides whole LINES: of the 84 coin-venue cells on this tape, 0 lose every one of their days to the gate and do not exist on this page at all (none); the thinnest survivors are ATOM·Gate 77 of 78, SEI·Gate 74 of 78, OP·Gate 52 of 78. So «four exchanges» is the page's ceiling, not its promise for every coin — the gate is ours, and where a line is missing the feed is not broken, our capture was too short. |
| policy | 🩸 the coin list here is NOT the same list as the funding and liquidation pages: this tape carries BTC, ETH, SOL, APT, ARB, ATOM, AVAX, BNB, DOGE, DOT, ENA, LINK, NEAR, ONDO, OP, PEPE, SEI, TAO, TIA, UNI, XRP. Each page names its own list rather than borrowing the phrase «21 coins». · export: from 2026-08-08 (rows before that day are the exchange's own archive and stay here) |
