Taker buys minus taker sells in dollars, day by day: above zero the buyers were hitting the offers harder, below zero the sellers were hitting the bids. Four exchanges on our own tape since Aug-08 2026; Binance alone back to 2019 from its public daily prints.

Every trade has a side that waited and a side that came to hit it. Add up the dollars of the hitters: buys minus sells is the day's number. Above zero the buyers were the impatient ones, below zero the sellers. We record the aggressor trades of four exchanges minute by minute since Aug-07 2026 (a day counts only with at least 1,300 of its 1,440 minutes); for the long view Binance publishes the same split in its daily prints back to 2019, and against that print our Binance leg runs about 0.7 % under on the median coin (measured on Oct-08 2026).
